Actually it was more like I searched for "How do I use Thunderbird with
Yahoo Mail?" and the answer came back "Sign up for this account & follow
these steps."
i don't know Yahoo's account levels, but regardless of whatever advice you
followed, if your account offers IMAP, it is likely you could switch to it and
then you should be able to manage your spam folder from your desktop instead of
via webmail, among other benefits
