Ever tried it Darren? It's also an old wive's tale. Didn't work for
us, or rather our dog. Multiple shampooings and using the hair drier
on low on him *eventually* did the trick. Our vet pointed out that
heat is needed to evaporate the volatile oils in the skunk scent.
