Thanks, Ann! Regarding the wings - one way to ID the Frosted Whiteface
(which looks a lot like the banded white face) is to look for a specific
pattern of veins in the upper wing. It makes it one of the species that
can be definitively ID'd from photos.... (A little trivia there...)

K-3, A*200 macro, AF360FGZ flash. I realized later that these are the
first insect macros I've taken with the K-3 - it seems to be up for the
