In my other trials & tribulations I must have missed "the
shadow-under-the-nose controversy".

But, if you're going for a George Hurrell look, your model is going to
have to put on a LOT more makeup & you're going to need to retouch the
freckles on her arms & neckline.

And I think for a George Hurrell look that shadow should be a bit more
pronounced.

For my own taste, I'd retouch the freckles unless the model specifically
asked that they be left. And I'd try to tone down the background around
her right forearm & the stool.
