Sure does ... I tend to use the Pentax batteries mixed
with the Wasabis, as they have somewhat more capacity.
The Pentax within the body, and the Wasabi in the grip,
then swapping out the grip battery (set to "grip first")
as needed during a shooting day, leaving the body battery as a backup.

No issues charging either battery type in either charger !!
(I think my camera pack has the Pentax charger in it)

Ok, new question.

Will the Pentax charger charge up the Wasabi battery?

John,

Oh my ... as a collector, you turned me on to another charger to add to
my wish list !!

It looks great, and the adapter plates are reasonable in cost ...
I'll have to pick up a couple of the plates to use with my general
purpose chargers
(better than using the built-in adjustable spring-loaded contacts)

I use mostly two of the Wasabi chargers, bought each with a pair of
spare generic batteries,
the cigarette adapter that comes with them ... I tend to leave a charger
in the car all the time,
and one in the camera pack, so its nice to have two. And the Wasabi's
are small.

Both my general purpose chargers, an MH-C777PlusII and a Triton EQ,
work in the car,
although the MAHA unit has reduced NiMH capabilites using a 12 volt
input. Useful
if you might run into unusual batteries to charge on the road, say a
companions cell phone,
but the dedicated units such as the Wasabis are more useful.

I carry a spare battery for the K-3, but I don't have any way to
recharge a depleted battery until I get to somewhere I can plug the
charger into an AC outlet. When I'm out and about, there's no where I
can leave the charger plugged in until the battery is recharged.

I have an after-market charger for the K10D/K20D batteries that plugs
into the cigarette lighter socket in my car. I'm looking into something
similar for the K-3.

I ran across this charger at B&H:

It has the adapter to plug into the cigarette lighter socket. It also
has interchangeable plates, so I could use it to charge both D-LI90 &
D-LI50 batteries ...

... and if the putative Full-Frame Pentax DSLR uses still another
battery, I could probably find a plate to fit it as well.

Does anyone on the list have experience using the Watson charger,
especially in a mobile environment?
