Hi Frank,
You will be disappointed as the screen for the Spotmatics is much larger
than that of the later cameras. I have a frame, pentaprism etc in front of
me. One thing I noticed, it is possible to convert the Spotmatic to a full
farme view finder (with the exception of the diagonal corners). You would
have to give up the meter mask (JCO yanks the batteries anyway), but it is
doable.
