There is an additional fix for Pentax users that's not mentioned in the release notes. Lightroom now recognizes the Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 Contemporary lens, instead of reporting it as "Unknown Lens". This affects things like the metadata filters and the information overlay. (I reported the bug to Adobe and went back and forth with an engineer--on a Sunday--to provide an example file, so I knew this fix was coming.)
Images that were already in the catalog will not be updated to show the lens. Godfrey explained how to update them back when a different lens was added, and I stole his explanation and posted it here: http://photo.stackexchange.com/a/11376/2138 Note the caveats in the comments: This updates the raw files (at least for DNG) so it won't work on a read-only filesystem, and it may cause a lot of extra backing-up if you do automatic backups of changed files. One thing that helps is to narrow down your selection as much as possible--I only shot the 17-70 on my K-5 II, so I selected that camera explicitly in the filter panel, in addition to the lens.
