I have no expenditure to justify, but I had no trouble seeing the difference. (Make sure your browser isn't shrinking the image to fit in your window!) For example, look at the 9 in "19 STRAND". The white gap between the upper part and the lower part of the 9 is better defined to me in the pixel-shift shot.
