i have a Dell U231H and it is very good for photo editing and was
reasonably priced, as well as a 27 iMac with Retina display that is
amazing .

i would skip the Dell — it seems to have only a VGA connection, which means
your converting to analog and back to digital again to display anything
i don't find an Acer SE2416H — that's the exact same model number as the Dell,
so i wonder if you mistyped?
