That does sound like a good deal. I'm looking for the high frame rates of the K-3 though...

I'd like to buy used for economical reasons. I'm getting into doing some video work and I've been using a K-5 (borrowed from my brother) which produces beautiful shots but the short recording time in an issue and the low frame rate options.

Larry, let me know if you'd be interested in selling either of your cameras and what price you were thinking. Also, thanks for the good tip on search tempest.

Cheers!
Immanuel

I have a K-5 that I'll let go for $200. Don't know if that's a good deal, but I

If you're looking to buy new, B&H currently beats that price on a K-3 with the
K-3ii about $150 more.

Far be it from me to take money out of the hands of a list member, but Amazon
has at least one vendor selling New K-3 cameras for $735.00.

It's coming from Taiwan so it might be an international warranty, but even then
the price is pretty much the same as you'd pay for an Ex++ used copy.

I was thinking $400 — $700 if this seems reasonable. I am interested in the K-3,
although since I'll mostly be using it for video, I like the external mic &
headphone jacks that the K-3ii has.

Let me know if you'd be interested in selling either of yours!

Greetings Pentaxians,

I am looking to buy a used K-3ii and wondering if you have any leads.
I've looked extensively on Craigslist and haven't found a single one for
sale...
What price range are you looking at? Would you be interested in a K-3?

I ended up with one of each, but was going to keep the K-3ii as a backup body.

Thanks,
Immanuel
