I often use gelled strobes on black backgrounds to get a colored
background when shooting portraits.
I've also been fighting with panel lights like this in the background
when shooting dance because they're too bright and blow out channels

Has anyone tried using them at hot lights for colored background along
with strobes? Are they bright enough?
