If you click on the "Install" link it takes you to a "Choose Your OS:" page that
includes Icons for 'X' and "Windoze".

I haven't used it, but it appears to be more of a Gimp replacement/complement
for Linex. I'm not even sure it runs under Windows of Mac. So if you run
either of those two OSs, (we have to find a better way too write that), you're
probably out of luck with darktable. The screen shots look really good though.
I've been using DxO optics Pro, aside from it's default renderings being way too
dark, once you get used to it's interface it's not bad. Major advantage is it's
not a subscription, you can buy it out right, major disadvantage, from a Pentax
users point of view, it doesn't support earlier cameras such as the *ist series,
not even when converted to DNG, (I don't know which camera support starts with,
I think the K10D), so I have to maintain an earlier RAW converter to handle
those files. It works very well with K20D and K-5II files.

I've been less satisfied with Lightroom technically lately, and very unhappy
with their subscription only model. I recently ran across references to
darktable.
