I have the Motor Drive A (as you may have seen w/ my posts regarding some problems I've had w/ it) and actually, the camera feels really nice in my hands w/ the drive. I actually prefer handling the camera this way- the camera w/o the drive feels a bit too small and unwieldy with a telephoto on it.
On the other hand, the camera feels absolutely silly when I have a small lens on it. Yes, it's very loud! I don't mind that, I'll turn it off if I have to shoot more quietly. You know one thing I really dislike about the new cameras? The auto-rewinding feature is really noisy. With a manual rewind crank, I can virtually silently rewind. With the newer cameras w/ built-in winders, there is no manual backup and the rewinding is really loud. U bet! With MDA, it's big, it's heavy, and it's LOUD! Clearly another marketing failure. :) regards, Alan Chan _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
