Canadian history with, not nuns specifically, but with schools run by the
various churches, the catholic one in particular, are very, very dark.
The churches were put in charge of educating the Indian out of the Indians
(the aboriginal Canadians had the word Indian hung on them as an
identifier).

The net result has not been a positive one.
