We all have our shortcomings. Evangelical Protestants are by and large uncompromisingly racist. Muslims in many Middle East countries routinely dismember lawbreakers and stone women who have been raped. A 14 year old is scheduled for execution in Saudi Arabia. But we dare nit disparage Protestants or Muslims. Yes, there are some awful Catholic clerics who have too long been protected but at least the church is now trying to make amends. And those nuns who rapped unruly English schoolboys across the knuckles to make them act like men? I count them as heroes.
