Thanks!

Maybe I could have left the images a bit darker in post processing. I always find that kind of thing hard to judge. The film is supposed to give a "desaturated look", or something of that nature.

The gallery thing I'm using wants to scale images to available size (with borders) and doesn't offer an easy way to zoom in. The thumbnails at the bottom were supposed to have more direct links to the original, but sometimes add "frames", too. And maybe the files were also scaled a bit on upload. Need to have a closer look at everything if I continue to use this...

looks like the monument to the mand in the middle is eying the scooter(?) left in font of him
:-)

That's one of those "electric scooters" that seem to be everywhere these days. They annoy a lot of people, but I think they make nice subjects sometimes.

Torlaf .. I read a lot of responses beofre I chimed in, and glad I did since I better understood what your slant was.. The 6th photo, the open space with buldings faintly emerging in the distance is very powerful and painterly.  it rather looks like those drawings architects make to show what they are planning for the future. the one preceding it  gave me a giggle - looks like the monument to the mand in the middle is eying the scooter(?) left in font of him and the overall geometry is nice.   for most of the others, I'd personally prefer to see stronger lines and less of the overexposed look - but that's just me.  your site doesnt let me enlarge the photos enough for me(with my eye promlems)to see them clearly... on my monitor (HP desktop< Windows 7 pro running) The largest I can make an image is the size of a 5 x 7 print..  is that just a clash of software across the seas or intentional ? I usually have the opposite problem viewing some work too large to see the entire frame and I have to shrink it.

anyway, nice work as usual

I thought I might post something on that "microblog" site of mine the other day. Even though it's only been about five years since last time. I guess my rate of posting here is also "once every few years" these days, but there you have it...

Thanks for looking. Or alternatively for ignoring it completely, which is probably also OK. As I'm saying, I tend to go out with High Hopes in these circumstances, but tend to end up with something that's, well, quite ordinary, I guess.
