It has been a year (?) since I sold my last PZ-1p, so my memory may be off, but I believe that I was getting 35-40 rolls of 36 exposure film with each battery change. I used flash often (25-30%?), power-zoom very often, and occasionally forgot to turn off the switch.
If your battery usage is this high, I would suspect a defect and would try to have a knowledgeable repair person check for a short circuit or other problem. I know the PZ-1p has a reputation as a battery consumer par exellance, but 6-8 rolls just doesn't sound right. Of course, YMMV, IIRC, etc. Stan > From: "Gaurav Aggarwal" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Sat, 10 Aug 2002 18:04:05 +0530 > Subject: Building a battery grip for PZ-1 (a FAQ perhaps!) > Hi, > I have a PZ-1 that is eating up batteries (probably I use the flash > quite often and leave the camera on once in a while).
