1959 I bought a Zeiss Contessa used and in 1968 bought the first of my
Spotmatics. Never cared for the K series as I felt like many others that
Pentax sold us out.

Felt I needed autofocus in 1991 and bought a SF1n and after it was stolen a
PZ1p in 1996. Became disalusioned with autofocus in 1999 when I drug out one
of my old Spotmaitcs. It was like being re-enabled. Sold the PZ1p and bought
a used LX in 2000.

I still use the Spotmatics from time to time but the LX is my prime camera.
