Hey Bill, I just was kidding. But honestly i really think that Pikelipse is a good name and branding for that IDE. It remembered me at once for http://texlipse.sourceforge.net/ which plays with two terms too.
I also think this name is good for search-engines (e.g http://pikelipse.gotpike.org/) like google and self-explained. Btw: Could you please take a look at http://hww3.riverweb.com:8080/viewrep/cvs/PDT ? The server seems not to respond.
