AWESOME!
Which of these would you do first if given the choice?
And why did you stop wanting to roll your own?

No, I
haven't been thinking about rolling my own distro (though I did at one
time). However, I've got a ton of projects that I'd like to do. For
starters:
1. A nice interface for managing virtual domains in postfix with LDAP
and cyrus. Similar in concept to Phamm[1] but without the ugly
interface and specific to virtual mail hosting and not the other stuff
2. Work on building better enterprise management tools for Gentoo.
3. A good interface for configuring and managing a samba server that is
setup to be a PDC for an NT domain.
4. A good backup software suite for Linux.
5. Thunderbird plugin for my spamfilter
6. A Kerberos KDC on a bootable CD with the key databasestored on a
flash drive with an encrypted filesystem
7. A good configuration and management tool for IPSec tunnels in Linux
I've got plenty more. If you're interested in any of them (and that
goes for anyone) let me know, and maybe we can start a "public service"
for others.
