        I accidentally found it. In the Schematic
Tools>Preferences>Graphical Editing Tab there is a checkbox you set
where you are then able to place a backslash (character map calls it out
as a reverse solidus. Is that a Gatesism?)in front of whatever text to
get the overstrike. Thanks for the quick response.

Can't remember exactly, but the control character is either the forward
or backward slash , or the it's the tilde... "N/et" is the format
(without the quotes, if I'm remembering corectly.
