Dude 120 layers is a pretty intense design, On one occasion we have used all 30 signal layers and all of the planes in Protel. It was a fairly large design and the only one I have ever seen. The board thickness was over .250 inch thick. Ask yourself...do you really need 120 layers? Protel's resolution close enough to user for IC layout. The ONLY fault and I have with is the router. There are 3rd party tools including Spectra which will place Protel next to expedition for schematic and pcb layout. You might find the simulation tools better in Expedition.
