Hi Kat,

Don't start the track from the centre of the pad, that way you get the list
of layers to pick from. After that you'll find you can delete that bit of
track and then start from the centre and it will work. Weird...

Subject: [PEDA] ARRRGGGHHHH 99SE SP6 can not manual route NET

Hi all,

This is my stupid fault but.......

I have a over crowded PCB, I have a section (filters) where I have
components
top and bottom of the PCB, they are identically aligned ie if you look
through
the board, the other side is shadow of the side viewed from.

The problem is that I am getting a net from the other side when I want to
route one side, in this case I am trying to route the top, but I am grabbing
a
bottom net :(

I have tried selecting the net, selecting all the components pads on the
net,
using single layer mode, turning the bottom layer off, all to no avail, I
think this is due to the pad centers being 100% in allingment?

Any ideas how to do this, or do I need to move all the components off the
same
centers ???

Regards,

Kat.
