This is getting annoying ... 99SE/sp6. I have a connector footprint that I want to modify just a little (remove one top overlay line). I would prefer NOT to create a whole new footprint for this, so I explode the component to free primitives and delete the offending line.
The problem is that the J2 "component" is now gone. Every time I update the pcb from the schematic, it wants to add the J2 connector footprint back in. There's an option to add primitives to a component, but since the J2 connector component is now gone, I can't ...
