Hello out there, I have the following problem: When I changed something within my schematic - e.g. using another pin-compatible memory-IC - there are many tracks in my layout, who's netnames got lost.
So: If I mount the new (pin-compatible) IC to the same position (and orientation), all those old connection could be recycled. But I receive many DRC-errors, because of the lost netnames. Of course I could assign the correct netnames to the tracks, but this is more work than placing the tracks again. Is it possible to re-assign only one track's correct netname and let protel assign the same netname to all tracks, vias, etc. that have a 'physical' connection to the initial-track? So that the re-assigned netname 'pours' through my layout...? I work with protel 99SE SP6 Have a nice weekend! Kind regards Christian ____________________________________________________________ You are subscribed to the PEDA discussion forum To Post messages: mailto:[email protected] Unsubscribe and Other Options: http://techservinc.com/mailman/listinfo/peda_techservinc.com Browse or Search Old Archives (2001-2004): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] Browse or Search Current Archives (2004-Current): http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]
