Steven is asking for what was already the case in the Lyris peirce-l, except
for one thing:

Messages' subject line began with [peirce-l] (all lower-case, not "Peirce-l").
Among other reasons for all-lower-case, capital-P "Peirce-l" is a genealogy
list. Anyway, [peirce-l] is the long tradition at peirce-l, except when Joe
wrote it as all caps "PEIRCE-L".

Best, Ben

On the new list: I'd like to see [Peirce-l] added to the start of the subject
line and a footer added with unsubscribe instructions and FAQ pointer.
