I see what you mean and will keep my eyes open for a thing of that sort ! I am not sure models are useful. I don't want to sound trite, but I think each society is a unique combination of economic, political and ideological elements. That's why I am sceptical of claims of global theories. I believe in competence and expertise (without being technocratic) ! Ulhas
