I agree you could.

(And I agree that the British media are showing a series of in depth reports about Saddam's Iraq which support the liberal interventionist agenda on the grounds that there is not due process in that country.)  At the same time opinion in the UK shows a fall in support for a war against Iraq, and a strong preference for a shared position with the United Nations.

The point I am making is about pure revolutionary stances. Concretely to oppose an intervention against Iraq is currently to support Saddam Hussein.

Concretely to oppose apartheid in the 90's meant supporting the ANC, which we now know, and perhaps should have known then, tortured prisoners.

Yes it is possible to write a purely propaganda leaflet for distribution at a demonstration showing that a specific organisation has a pure revolutionary principled line, but that does not help build the practical struggle.
