I agree with this. "Hope" counts in politics. Tis very human. And, right now, a vision of "hopeful socialism" (utopianism) is positive. All politics are based on improving the lot of the individual. Without "a vision," even them "realistic commies" remain but a braukellar Marxist cadre trying to enlist disgruntled technocrats for a future world of technocrats removed from utopia. A vision/hope is important to a "mass movement" ("mass movement" being translated as "Lots of people").
