In point of fact, Jews were treated much better in Muslim 
countries (or empires) than they were in Christian Europe. This is 
a fact that Zionism tries to cover up, trying to essentially craft 
a Goldhagen thesis for the Muslim world against all the evidence.

Probably because the land that the Israeli state controls was 
wrested through violence and the expulsion of the majority population.
