Marxmail has a 35,000 byte limit and PEN-L has none. Despite that you prefer writing 140 character quips that are ultimately paper-thin--and this from an author of some pretty sharp articles and books on economics and computing. I guess that goes with the territory. I concluded nearly 25 years ago when I joined PEN-L that it was primarily for economics professor to indulge in "slumming".
