How long did the transition from feudalism to capitalism take? 150 years? Does it even make sense to talk of "ending capitalism" over timescales shorter than several decades? So what does it mean when someone says (as often you hear on PEN-L) that "there is no hope for humanity unless capitalism is ended" or something like that? -raghu.
