Not quite. The Communists in the 30’s entered the DP with the intent of 
building their own independent organization. Unlike the Trotskyists in the US, 
France, and Britain who at the same time liquidated their organizations into 
the SP, SFIO, and ILP respectively, the CP never dissolved into the DP. This is 
intended as clarification, not as judgement since the circumstances of these 
parties has to be to taken into account.
