Just the other day I was telling a friend I was expecting to read soon that these horrible bombings and rocket attacks in Iraq, blamed on "insurgents" are really us, the U.S. The following article comes close to saying just that.

Yeah yeah... I ran this all past a bunch of so called 'leftists' on another list a while back and they said I was... I forget, because they were a truly boorish lot and reminded me soooo much of an 'L' word that I truly despise... Libertarians. The 'Golden Mosque' incident was one such occurence that particularly roiled them when I ran an article about how incredibly long it would take to pull off that particular piece of demolition work.

Also, I've been preaching that the oil economy is no longer a 'trade commodity', but has moved rapidly into the realm of 'conflict commodity'. I found Travus T. Hipp in agreement on that the other day.

But if you skip the news segment, you'll miss this item:
The Iraqi Interior Ministry's secret prison that U.S. forces uncovered a few months ago? It's still there, only a dozen or so prisoners have been released, and it's back to 'Business as usual'.
