The main thing for me is that Ulhas' jumping in with the India
comparison is nothing but a red herring. The main comparison is not
between India (yay!) and Cuba (boo!) as he seems to want it to be
(though his messages are ambiguous at best).

The main comparisons are as follows:

1) Cuba does amazingly well compared to the US, despite the fact that
the latter is on top of the world and uses its power to undermine the
former.

2) Cuba does much better than official propaganda would have it.

BTW, I don't think anyone was saying that Cuba is better than India.
It's not like there's a competition going on. Obviously, they face
different challenges, with India's been harder in many cases. But here
goes.

This Ulhas has the interesting old habit or agenda of finding out and
posting anything negative about Cuba he can find in the mainstream pro neo-lib
press, especially from John Pearson's Reuters. Weird!
