I have just left a company that ran pure Apache and Tomkat servers, the only
IIS servers they used were for the company web sites, one reason the company
will fail is there lack of portability to a Win32 platform.

Tomkat can be ported to an IIS server to run .jsp pages, but to move the
entire platform to a pure Apache server is a bad one. Any .asp pages will
not run on Solaris unless you install ChiliSoft, http://www.chilisoft.com.

But even the ChiliSoft platform will not run all the features of VBS that
can be found on IIS.

Good luck, you will need it.
