(I don't know what happened to this specific patch... but) If you send your patches through the bugtracker to bugs-parrot <at> bugs6.perl.org, then metadata can be attached to a specific patch. Also, by including [PATCH] in the subject, the tracker learns that it's a patch, useful for reports, such as http://www.parrotcode.org/openpatches. -R
