"is mindwarping"? "does the_time_warp_again"?We can certainly make it the default that a routine is not going to do anything fancy with continuations unless it is explicitly declared to allow it. As to what that declaration should be, I have no idea. Probably just a trait that says, "is continuationalizableish" or some such.
The problem, in any case, is similar to "throws" in Java: if any of your children are marked, so shall you be, unto the Nth generation. (Or, at least, this is how I understand it.)
