Text is cheap. If people want to skip past it, they can. We need to
be talking more about what we're doing. Consider the outside person
who's only vaguely, if at all, familiar with Parrot. "pbc_to_exe"
means nothing to them.
You are advocating better marketing, which is fine -- and I am lousy at
producing marketing copy, so I appreciate the help. But NEWS is
supposed to be a comprehensive-but-terse summary for those who have
already found the marketing interesting enough to download the beast --
and can look in docs/glossary.pod to find out what all the strange
acronyms mean.

Not at all. It's just the one that I see as most important and am
most familiar with.
