You're right about that. I postponed because I had asked him about the talks
outside of universities and only yesterday night he replied that he still
wants to do them, and recently I sent an email regarding that.

I'm not applauding it, but I understand it. There's a major difference.
Unfortunately most Israelis are so blinded by anger and feelings of
entitlement that they cannot see where someone is coming from.

The problem is that by ignoring what happens, we legitimize it. Silence is
acceptance.
If Stallman cares about what goes on in Palestine, and doesn't say a word
for fear of upsetting people, it'd be much worse.
At least this way people realize the Palestinian issue *does* affect other
parts of their lives, whether they want to avoid it or not.

So, even though I wanted him to give the talk at our regular venue, it only
means to move the talks elsewhere.
Instead of accepting this and respecting him, people have decided to attack
him for his decision. I disagree with it.
