Silence is acceptance. If Stallman cares about what goes on in Palestine, and doesn't say a word for fear of upsetting people, it'd be much worse. At least this way people realize the Palestinian issue *does* affect other parts of their lives, whether they want to avoid it or not. So, even though I wanted him to give the talk at our regular venue, it only means to move the talks elsewhere. Instead of accepting this and respecting him, people have decided to attack him for his decision.
