Kaj - In case you didn't see it, I've written an Asymptote interface for Perl and PDL. You can find it on cpan under Graphics::Asymptote; the PDL module is called PDL::Graphics::Asymptote. It doesn't document how to use Asymptote, though, so if you want to learn that, you'll have to read Asymptote's manual. It just makes it really easy to 'drive' asymptote using a perl script. And I agree, Asymptote makes really nice plots. :) David
