Hi, there was missing the OpenGL perl module, being freeglut present. I think that to get all the components could be a matter to be able to set the perldl.conf all to 1. All dependencies are shown unless satified. I realized in this way that OpenGL v>0.65 was missing. I was always missing the dependencies for the OpenGL to compile.Joel has a pretty good tut on: https://github.com/PDLPorters/pdl/wiki/Installing-Using-cpanm The only change that I did from it was that I used 'apt-get install pdl' and then after upgraded using CPAN. It resolved all of my issues and I can do all of the demos now, 2d and 3d. Note that on 11.10 this was much simpler as I didn't have to install the freeglut and the other dependencies for the perl OpenGL module - it worked simply as shown in: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/pdl/index.php?title=Installing_PDL_on_Ubuntu_11.10_Oneiric_Ocelot I don't know why I didn't have to install the dependencies, they were either performed by the 11.10 install or as part of the unity-2d interface (my computer is fairly old...). Hope this helps. I still do not get TriD installed on Ubuntu 11.04 What can I check? Thanks |
