Im sorry David I uninstalled windows 7

yet I was using

windows enterprise 7
perl 5.14
I loaded all modules by hand as well as there dependences
as well as Inline::C
I can install it on another hard drive and try to

get it to work, might not be till tomorrow I have to

work on my homework in electronic engineering

I will let you know when I have it up and running ...

I would like to use Ubuntu except my Internet connection
would not work, and I couldn't figure out how to check

if the adapters were installed and if the drivers were installed

; even after following the help files ...

Thanks

-Mark

Mark,
You have been on this mailing list for years and have seen useful bug reports.
This was not a useful bug report.
What version of PDL were you trying to install? Was it through CPAN or from
source? Did you have all the dependencies installed?
Which brand of Perl? Active Perl? Strawberry? Cygwin? Self-compiled?
Which version of Perl? 5.12? 5.14? 5.16? Bleed?
Which compiler? MS VC? Mingw? Cygwin? gcc?
Have you managed to install other XS-based modules? If so, were they based on
ExtUtils::MakeMaker, Module::Build, or were both successful?
I may be able to get a copy of Windows 7 working shortly, but a few more
details would go a long way in helping diagnose and solve the problem.
David
