Those are click beetles (family Elateridae).  Adults are nuisance pests, 
attracted to lights. The larvae feed on the roots of plants and are considered 
of economic importance. Unless you have many plants indoors, upon which the 
larvae are feeding,  I would say that the adults were simply there, having been 
attracted to inside lights through open doors and windows.

Good afternoon everyone,

 

I did my pest trap checks this morning and found two insects I didn’t 
recognize. Both are just a bit under half an inch long. I’m hoping they’re just 
incidental invaders, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t concerned.
