While at the FIeld Museum I worked with Dick Bisbing to evaluate dust, We used 
a 3M VHB tape on a glass slide that was then taped to a piece of Plexiglas. 
This tape is isotropic so it allowed for the evaluation/identification of what 
was collected on the tape using PLM without sample transfer. At the time, the 
tape passed the Oddy test. That was five years ago so it would need to be 
tested again.
