Thanks Guys Malcom, I dont know to be honest, I chose belkin out of personal preference and they had a choice of 85Mbps and 200Mbps, now I know I am not going to get that realistically (end to end) as ethernet is only capable of 100Mbps anyway, but I guess this is more the speed between the two homeplugs? Anyway I chose the higher spec ones because I am an online gamer (Windows/Battlefield 2) and the more bandwidth the better. I cant say or quantify how much it is improved by but it is very very noticeable.
Thought it was worth mentioning in case anyone else linke hase had a great Linux distro but struggled with wireless drivers etc. Where its not practical to run ethernet cables all over the house, these homeplugs work a treat. I just can't beleive its taken me this long to try them out.
