Hi.
I've been to a couple of LUG meeting in the past, so I add my 2 cents here.
I agree that the meeting are not formally organised, but they resemble more a
group of people meeting and each one (or in small groups) doing his own things.
However, when I chatted to anyone, everyone of them was friendly and helpful.
Maybe it helped the fact that I had a problem to solve, so I could ask specific
questions and hence break the ice.
I liked the atmosphere, maybe because I was not expecting anything organised I
could blend in without any difficulties.
I have been part of other groups (sci-fi and cinema-goers) and both of them
were very informal, like the LUG.
I think that being small groups, it is difficult to find the time to organise a
"proper" meeting, so the proceeding are left to the initiative of every member.

So for me Thumbs up to the LUG. :-)
Michele
