I'm with Andy on this one, although I wouldn't expect this to apply to 
everyone. However there will be a lot of business/enterprise Linux users 
and I think PLUG would benefit from encouraging them to take part.

This point summarises what I said quite nicely. For me, the reasons are 
slightly different - there were a lot of meetings I hosted that I had to 
change several things around in order to be able to host them, so now 
it's quite nice to "just fancy a night in" and not feel I have to go, 
which is a terrible admission and I'll work on changing it!

I suspect that people like myself and Andy probably gain more from 
mailing lists than meetings (when something breaks at work I can't wait 
for the next monthly meeting to find a solution!) although I tend to use 
other lists than this one because I perceive that there is relatively 
little enterprise knowledge here, and that's probably not a fair perception.
