And also with MessagePack (http://msgpack.org/), a highly space/time efficient binary serialization protocol. There is an implementation on SqueakSource at http://www.squeaksource.com/MessagePack and a high-level object-serialization protocol on top of that at http://www.squeaksource.com/STOMP.
