IMHO the really cool thing about all of this is that if you really, really
really want to continue running an unsupported version of RHL you can always
choose to support it yourself. The information to do this (if you have the
skills) is out there. Just because Red Hat stops issuing errata for a
particular release does not mean it instantly turns into a pumpkin. For a
personal use desktop system I do not see the problem upgrading every year
or so. For the commercial system that needs stability someone has to pay
for the support of it. If Red Hat's business model cannot/will not support
doing it for free than at least you have the option of doing it yourself.
If you do not have the skills to do it yourself then you are free to pay
someone to do it for you. Try to do that with _anything_ from M$!!

Hummmmm, I wonder if there is money to be made here?? :-)
